PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat preventive structure in a cab of a construction machine, which can be assembled in an inexpensive and simple process, and does not lower a heat insulating effect on a seat side, and further can have various other useful effects. SOLUTION: A fire wall function is provided on a seat support 2. The seat support 2 is composed of a seating portion 20 covering the rear side of a cab seat 1 and a support portion 21 supporting the seating portion 20. The support portion 21 is a rectangular parallelepiped shape supporting body for supporting the almost front half of the seat 1. By this supporting structure, the almost rear half of the seat 1 becomes an empty space. Further, because the support portion 21 arranges the rectangular parallelepiped shape supporting body to be vertical, the vertical wall opposed to an engine (an engine side outer wall) is vertically arranged. The fire wall portion 3 of the seat support is an engine side outer surface of the seat portion 20 and the support portion 21 in the seat support 2 (a hatched portion in the figure). Because the fire wall portion 3 of the seat support is flat as shown in the figure, a large rectangular heat insulating material is pasted on the surface of the fire wall portion. Further, because a vacant space exists in front of the engine side outer surface of the support portion 21, the portion of the seat support surrounded by the fire wall portion 3 becomes a vacant space as shown in the figure.
