The joint has an elastomeric body (4) arranged between inner and outer frames (2, 3). The body is elastically deformable to permit a relative displacement of the frames. A bipolar permanent magnet (S1) positions a sensor (C1) in a preset spatially distributed magnetic field. The sensor produces a measurement signal representing an intensity of the field at the level of field sensitive zone. - The sensor is an anisotropic magnetoresistance type sensor, giant magnetoresistance type sensor, or giant magneto-impedance type sensor.
