PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure the inducing operation of a control body engaged with a bracing rail by keeping the vertical space of the bracing rail and a floor face constant at all times, and to surely brace a door panel. SOLUTION: A top-railed sliding door has the lower projecting-shaped bracing rail 6 arranged to the door panel 2 and a guide unit 9 mounted on the floor face F. A magnetic metal plate 13 is arranged along the lower peripheral surface of the bracing rail 6. Both ends of the bracing rail 6 are supported by runners 7, and the vertical space of the bracing rail 6 and the floor face F is held at a constant value. A guide unit 9 contains a case 31, the control body 32 guided by the case 31 in a freely retractable manner and a magnet 34. A guide groove 33 engaged with the bracing rail 6 is indented and formed to the top face of the control body 32. The magnet 34 is disposed on the internal bottom of the guide groove 33. The bracing rail 6 and the guide groove 33 are engaged and the door panel 2 is held in a bracing shape by the magnetic attraction working of the magnet 34 and the magnetic metal plate 13.
