<p>A wine packing line presents filled bottles to a stopper insertion and sealing station having a base (14) and an upright mast with a horizontal turntable tray (1) bearing a batch of stoppers (2). The stoppers are driven to the periphery by a curved raised rib (3) and fall individually through a hole (21) to a curved chute for presentation to a bottleneck. A sensor detects the presentation of the stopper to the bottle and activates a plunger.</p> |
