FLEXIBLE THIN FILM BATTERY FABRICATED ONTO METAL SUBSTRATE

Provided is a flexible thin film battery, which allows the use of an easily available metal substrate as a starting substrate for the battery, while preventing diffusion of metal particles and a drop in capacity of the battery. The flexible thin film battery comprises: a conductive metal substrate that can be used as an electrode terminal; a conductive diffusion-preventing film deposited on the metal substrate; a collector film deposited on the diffusion-preventing film; a cathode active material film deposited on the collector film and comprising any one of lithium cobalt oxide, lithium manganese oxides and lithium nickel oxides; and a solid electrolyte film and an anode film deposited successively on the cathode active material film.
