PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method solving a defect such as a problem relevant to generation of soot and dust and rolling-in of air from a furnace using a minimum device by adjusting a burning process such that a complete sintered main ash having a required property is obtained without using a melting or glassification unit; and also reducing consumption of water. SOLUTION: A burning control system is operated such that a burning residue is previously sintered and/or dissolved at a fuel floor of a main burning band to prepare a main ash and the residue which is not molten or sintered is extruded to the outside at the time of completion of the burning process and thereafter is again returned to the burning process. The burning residue in the wet state taken out from a wet ash discharge device is firstly separated into two classification substances by a mechanical separation step. Then, the main classification substance substantially comprising a crude classification substance and an over size classification substance is washed with water drained from the wet ash discharge device to separate a fine particle part deposited on the burning residue.
