A wood crushing and sawdust making machine is provided to selectively produce sawdust-type chips of 1~5mm and large wood chips of 30~50mm by selecting the kinds of blades. An independent type blade(34) of a blade device unit(32) formed at the periphery of a crushing blade(30) of a crushing compartment has blade parts(34a,34b) at both ends. Recessed groove parts(32a) are formed in the front side of the blade device unit of the crushing blade. Both ends of a rotary shaft(5b) of an upper input roller(5a) installed in a guide roller device compartment(4) are protruded through vertical guide grooves(4a) formed on both side walls of the guide roller device compartment and connected to guide plates(40) guided to vertical guide protruded rods(4b) formed at both sides of the vertical guide groove. Guide rollers(41) are installed at both inner upper and lower sides and the guide plates to come into contact with each outside of the vertical guide protruded rods. Middle guide rollers(42) in contact with the lateral outsides of the guide roller device compartment are installed at both ends of the middle portion of the guide plate. A support arm(46) is formed in the center of the guide plate. A lower end of a spring(44) vertically installed in a guide pipe(43) formed at the upper part of the guide roller device compartment is placed on the upside of the support arm. A support rod(45) formed in the middle of the support arm is inserted into the center of the spring.
