An apparatus for verifying ink injection of an ink jet print head and a method thereof are provided to improve the good quality of the printed object by displaying the error of the ink injection through the display unit and keeping the ink volume injected by the nozzle groove unit in the maximum condition. An apparatus for verifying ink injection of an ink jet print head is composed of first and second plate members(50,70) forming first and second supply chambers(58) supplying the ink; a center plate member(60) mounted between the first and second plate members and formed with a nozzle groove unit(66) injecting the ink supplied from the first and second supply chambers; a piezo-electric device(80) installed at the outer surface of the first and second supply chambers to allow the ink to be injected through the nozzle groove unit; a sensing unit(110) mounted at the outer surface of the plate member to sense the ink; first and second wirings(92,102) formed at the surface of the plate member to transfer the sensing signal; a control unit(120) comparing/judging whether or not the ink injection works well through the nozzle groove unit according to the on/off of the piezo-electric device; and a warning unit(130) informing a user of the abnormal condition.
