A portable terminal with a side unfolding-type input key panel is provided to locate an input key panel on a circumferential side of the terminal, and to unfold the input key panel when necessary, thus the expansion of a display screen is available even without increasing the size of a terminal. A terminal case(110) has a display screen on an upper side. An input key panel(200) has plural input key buttons on a surface, and wherein an upper part is rotatively connected to one of sides that constitute the circumference of the terminal case(110) by a pivot connector so that the input key panel(200) is closed side by side with the side of the terminal case(110) or is unfolded side by side with the upper side of the terminal case(110).
