<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production information providing method and system for realizing the production adjustment and shipping preparation of supplier side products, and for attaining the efficiency of product production by grasping the product production circumstances (component use circumstances) of the delivery destination at the supplier side through a communication network in a real time. <P>SOLUTION: In this production information providing method for connecting a product production side with the supplier of components necessary for the production production through a communication line 4, and for providing information from the product production side to the supplier to let a customer grasp production circumstances, an information providing server 1 at the product production side prepares the production plan of predetermined period units relating to products by a production management system 3, and records the production plan information in a database 11.
