SYSTEM FOR WORK MAN-HOUR ESTIMATION AND PERSONNEL ALLOCATION, AND ITS METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform estimation of appropriate man-hour and personnel allocation on the basis of the past achievements by estimating the man-hour which takes into consideration of characteristics of every project or development team.

SOLUTION: The system has: an evaluation reference management part 102 for creating an evaluation reference of registered work by one-dimensional unit; a work progress management part 103 for registering or updating a new project and work; a work estimation processing part 104 for searching for whether or not work similar to the past one is generated with additional information on the work to be registered as a search key; an empty man-hour search part 105 for obtaining a period of work when personnel are needed and searching for workers to whom the work is available within the period of work to decide by using a computation expression whether or not the person in charge has any empty man-hour; and a personnel competence estimation part 106 for selecting a person in charge of work with skills and experiences best suited to the registration work from among workers who have empty man-hour within the period of work to examine whether or not the workers with empty man-hour satisfy the work man-hour required by the work.
