PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pressing device capable of obtaining a good bonding property irrespective to the bonding (transfer) position of a material to be bonded and the form of a subject, and aiming at the cut down of installing place and equipment cost. SOLUTION: This pressing device 10 is equipped with a lower flatiron 30 supported by a mount 12, an upper flatiron 80 supported by a rotary part 60 and a linking part 50 for linking the mount 12 with the rotary part 60 as rotatable. At the side surface of the mount 12, a pair of slits 20 for turning a clothing 94 as a processing subject to the upper and lower sides of the lower flatiron 30 is installed. In accordance with the form and dimension of the subject for processing and the bonding position of the material to be bonded, the orientations of the lower flatiron 30 and upper flatiron 80 are set, and the subject such as the clothing is set so as to be turned around the upper and lower sides of the lower flatiron. By loading the material to be bonded, coated with an adhesive on the reverse surface upon it, the material to be bonded is bonded with the subject by closing the upper flatiron 80 with an opening/closing lever 62 and also starting the pressing with the upper flatiron 80 by operating the pressing lever 64.
