The waste container consists of a receptacle (2) and a cover (3) with a side wall (4) and an inner peripheral rim (5) with an opening for the waste material. The opening has a transverse sloping inner wall (8) with a cut-out in the shape of part of a star (11) in its edge to facilitate the removal and recuperation of insulin pen tips. The sloping wall is located opposite a horizontal thrust surface connected to the inner rim and having concave and triangular cut-outs (9, 10). The cover is also equipped with a closable lid (14). |
