PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a household Shinto alter, designed to enhance worshipers' mental satisfaction during their daily worship service at home based on a novel technique and approach, as it is equipped with the function of reproducing sounds including ancient court music or the like that are effective at reminding them of an enshrined deity. SOLUTION: A household Shinto alter equipped with sound reproducing function 1, to be used for home worship service, is provided with a sound-reproducing system 2 comprising a control unit 21 for controlling sound data, a speaker 23, and a switch section 22.
