摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing semiconductor nanoparticles capable of easily producing semiconductor nanoparticles having uniform particle diameters. SOLUTION: The method for producing semiconductor nanoparticles by an inverse micelle method comprises: an inverse micelle forming stage where a polar liquid to be the raw material of semiconductor nanoparticles and tetraoctylammonium bromide as a surfactant are added to toluene, and stirring is performed, so as to form an inverse micelle; and a reducing stage where the obtained inverse micelle is reduced using at least one kind of reducing agent selected from the group consisting of LiBH<SB>4</SB>, LiAlH<SB>4</SB>and LiBH(CH<SB>2</SB>CH<SB>3</SB>)<SB>3</SB>.
