PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an MRI apparatus which suppresses signals from a space filling material over a plurality of sequences in imaging a water/fat separated image and displays minute signals without changing the space filling material for every sequence, and acquires images of high quality, and the space filling material. SOLUTION: A soft container filled with 108mM nickel chloride is disposed as the space filling material 401 between both leg parts in a space of lower thigh parts 402 and is made to make close contact with the subject in imaging water/fat separated images of a subject and a plurality of sequences including the sequence.
