PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a floating type connector capable of preventing a pin body from contacting an inside surface of a through-hole formed in a movable housing when the movable housing is vertically moved with respect to a fixed housing. SOLUTION: In this floating type connector 1, the fixed housing 30 is provided with: housing bodies 31 and 34 for fixing board connection parts 14 and 15 of contacts 10; and tubular boss parts 35 projecting from the housing bodies 31 and 34. Second through-holes 36 for inserting pin bodies 40 therein are formed so as to penetrate both the housing bodies 31 and 34 and the boss parts 35; the inside diameter of each first through-hole 26 of the movable housing 20 for inserting the pin body 40 therein is set to a size allowing the boss part 35 to be fitted therein and allowing the movable housing 20 to be vertically moved with respect to the fixed housing 30; and each boss part 35 is fitted in the first through-hole 26.
