A clothing dryer with a far infrared ray heater is provided to rapidly dry the laundry without damage, and confer heat supply by radiation using the far infrared ray heater as a heat source and convection simultaneously. A clothing dryer is composed of: a cabinet; a drying drum rotatably mounted in the cabinet; an air inlet path(155) connected to one end of the drying drum; and the far infrared ray heater installed on the air inlet port and placed toward the rear side of the drying drum. A window is installed at the rear surface of the drying drum to penetrate the far infrared ray. A radiation plate(152) is installed at the part where the air inlet path and the drying drum are connected.
