PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a "navigation device", a "path search technique", and a "storage medium" capable of establishing a destination easily even when non-recorded telephone number is input. SOLUTION: When there are four or more spots of positions corresponding to the telephone numbers consisting with the number representative of the region of inputted telephone number, the path search processing section 26 selects four telephone numbers close to the aforementioned inputted telephone number to set the spot of intersection of straight lines connecting each spot corresponding to the selected telephone number as the destination. The path search processing section retrieves courses from the position of own'car computed by a vehicle position measuring section 25 to the spot set as the destination.
