PROTON CONDUCTIVE ELECTROLYTE FILM, ITS PROCESS OF MANUFACTURE, AND SOLID POLYMER FUEL CELL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a proton conductive electrolyte film of high proton conductivity, low methanol permeability, and good jointing property with an electrocatalyst layer, along with its manufacturing method and a solid polymer fuel cell that uses the proton conductive electrolyte film 1.

SOLUTION: The proton conductive electrolyte film contains proton conductive polymer in fine pores of a porous film. The proton conductive electrolyte film 1 features 0.5-10.0μm of arithmetic average roughness Ra on the surface of electrolyte film by JIS B 0601.
