PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of constructing a bridge girder which is formed of a concrete upper floor slab, a concrete lower floor slab, and steel webs connecting the slabs, and exhibits a box-shaped cross section wherein a work vehicle for use in the method is reduced in weight and simplified in structure, and the rigidity of the bridge girder in the process of overhanging erection work is secured. SOLUTION: By the method, the bridge girder 1 is successively overhung in every construction block having a predetermined length. The work vehicle 40 for forming each construction block is hung and supported by a flange 21 secured to the lower end of the corrugated steel plate 31, and therefore the work vehicle 40 can be downsized and simplified. Further in the construction of the bridge girder 1, whenever the corrugated steel plate 31 is overhung and supported in the single construction block, the upper floor slab 10 and the lower floor slab 20 are formed and connected to the corrugated steel plate in one body, and therefore the rigidity of the bridge girder 1 in the process of erection can be sufficiently secured, thus enabling the formation of the bridge girder 1 at a correct height.
