<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To send toner to a developing device reliably without allowing the toner to remain in a toner conveyance tube 148 by preventing the toner between a toner bottle 128 and the developing device 103 from leaking when taking out the developing device. <P>SOLUTION: An image forming device of an electrophotography process comprises the toner bottle, a path of conveyance of toner 148 for guiding the toner sent by the toner bottle to the developing device 103, a conveying means (screw, air conveyance, and/or vibration conveyance) for feeding the toner to the developing device, and a conveyance control means 517 for sending the toner from the toner bottle to the path of conveyance of toner for supplying to the developing device, stopping the feed of the toner from the toner bottle, and driving a conveying means for excluding the remaining toner in the path of conveyance of toner. The conveying means is driven until a residual toner sensor 155 in the path of conveyance of toner detects the absence of toner.
