PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multimodal control device and a multimodal controlling method capable of realizing synchronization with fine grain size by using an existing browser while utilizing the obviousness of a GUI. SOLUTION: The multimodal control device is provided with an input focus management means for managing an input focus item in document data, a contents generation means for generating contents in a data input item range including the input focus item from document data in accordance with the sort of modality and a contents transmission means for transmitting the generated contents to a corresponding browser.
