The invention relates to a molding material containing: a) 50 to 99.9 % by weight of a matrix comprised of a thermoplastic material, and; b) 0. 1 to 50 % by weight of a matting agent provided in the form of a (meth) acrylate copolymer and distributed in the matrix. The invention is characterized in that the matting agent is a (meth)acrylate copolymer made from the following monomers: b1) 50 to 95 % by weight of methyl methacrylate; b2) 5 to 50 % by weight of C1 to C6 alkyl acrylates; b3) 0.01 to 0.5 % by weight of a crosslinking monomer and/or of graft crosslinking agents having two or more ethylenically unsaturated, radically polymerizable radicals; b4) 0 to 20 % by weight of one or more additional, non-crosslinking ethylenically unsaturated, radically polymerizable monomers, whereby constituents b1) and b2) and, optionally, b3) and/or b4) total 100 % by weight, and the matting agent has a glass- transition temperature Tmg of at least 20 °C.
