<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain 1, 3-dialkyl-2-imidazolidinone expressing neutral potential of hydrogen (pH) in a 50% aqueous solution. <P>SOLUTION: The 1, 3-dialkyl-2-imidazolidinone expressing neutral pH 6-8 in the 50% aqueous solution is prepared by treating a compound expressed by general formula (1) (wherein R expresses a 1-4C alkyl)expressing pH except 6-8 in the 50% aqueous solution with at least one species of treatments selected from the following (1) to (8): treatment with (1) an acid, subsequently an inert gas, (2) a base, (3) an ion exchange resin, (4) an inert gas, (5) an acid halogenide, (6) a carbodiimide, (7) an alcohol and (8) an aldehyde. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
