<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust emission control device of an internal combustion engine capable of restraining dilution of lubricating oil, by properly performing post-injection in regenerating processing of a DPF. <P>SOLUTION: A particulate deposit quantity GPM of the DPF 12 is calculated, and when the deposit quantity GPM becomes a first threshold value GPML1 or more, the regenerating processing of the DPF 12 is performed (S16, and S23). When performing the regenerating processing, an integral post-injection quantity IQPOST is calculated by integrating a post-injected fuel quantity, and when the integral post-injection quantity IQPOST reaches an upper limit threshold value IQPLH calculated in response to a travel distance, the regenerating processing is restrained (S22, and S25).
