<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radar system switching detecting directions, with successful receiving sensitivity, by plane structure and excellent in productivity. <P>SOLUTION: A pulse signal oscillated from an oscillator 108 is distributed to a mixer 110 of a receiving part 102 via a directional coupler 109 and transmitted from either of an antenna element 105 or 106 via a switch element 103. The pulse signal reflected from an obstacle is received by the antenna element 105 or 106 and inputted in the mixer 110 via a switch element 104. The pulse signal is mixed with the pulse signal distributed from the directional coupler 109 and distance to the obstacle is calculated by a signal processing part 111. The antenna elements 105 and 106 have array structure in which diamond-shaped antenna elements are connected, which have two feeding parts respectively, and the two feeding parts are connected to a transmitting part and a receiving part, respectively. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
