PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a video transmission system capable of accelerating a processing speed by solving the problem that a video transmission system uses a CPU transmission line for transmission of control data and check data of a camera part to perform the transmission, so that these data can not be transmitted at a high speed due to the bottleneck of a CPU processing speed. SOLUTION: The video transmission system comprises the camera part, a controller for controlling the camera part, and a camera link cable that connects the camera part and the controller and transmits a video signal generated by the camera part, wherein the camera link cable transmits a signal transmitted in a camera link format of a standard digital transmission method, the signal transmitted in the camera link format includes at least the video signal and a synchronizing signal, and a portion of the video signal in the camera link format is replaced with camera control information for controlling the camera part and transmitted.
