PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inexpensively provide a power tool having a high output and small leakage flux. SOLUTION: The power tool has a DC motor which is equipped with a stator 30 having an approximately cylindrical stator yoke 2, a plurality of permanent magnets 12, 13 disposed on the inner periphery of the stator yoke 2 spaced each other with a clearance in the peripheral direction, and a rotatable rotor 1 inserted in the stator 30, and a housing accommodating the DC motor. An auxiliary yoke member 6, which is a member made of ferromagnet having approximately C shaped cross section, and has a plurality of wide portions 6A which are positioned at the outside in the radial direction of the clearance in the peripheral direction between the plurality of permanent magnets 12, 13, and connection portions connecting adjacent wide portions each other, is fitted to the outer periphery of the stator yoke 2.
