PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reinforcing method for a hollow columnar object, which dispenses with troublesome work such that a base part of the buried columnar object is dug up, and which enables the columnar object to be surely reinforced. SOLUTION: The bag body 1 is installed inside the vicinity (base part 10a) of a boundary between the ground-side part and underground-side part of an internal space of a hollow utility pole 10; after that, a fluid solidification material 4 is injected into the bag body 1, so that the bag body 1 can be expanded; and the solidification material 4 and a filler 5 are hardened after the filler 5 is injected into the upside of the bag body 1.
