PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a construction method and a structure for assembling a frame body, which enable the frame body for forming a storage space to be surely and accurately assembled to an opening of a recessed space formed in a wall. SOLUTION: In the construction method for assembling the frame body, the frame body for forming the storage space 30 is assembled to the opening of the recessed space 20 which is formed in the wall. The construction method comprises: a first step of fixing a spacer 5 for a baseboard on one side to a wood shaft 12 at the lower end of the one-side opening edge of the opening, and of fixing a spacer 6 for a baseboard on the other side to a wood shaft 13 at the lower end of the other-side opening edge of the opening by using a guide material 10 for setting a frontage; a second step of assembling a three-side frame 123 by fixing a head and right and left jambs together; a third step of fixing the head and the right and left jambs in the state of placing the lower ends of the right and left jambs of the three-side frame on both the spacers for the baseboard, respectively, so as to secure the horizontality and verticality of the head and the right and left side frames; and a fourth step of erecting and fixing a center pole 8 for the mounting of an intermediate door between the head and a frontage floor surface, after the guide member of the frontage floor surface is demounted.
