An inner sole for footwear having a main body layer containing rice hull charcoal powder is provided to show intrinsic properties of the rice hull charcoal such as moisture control, water absorption and/or far-infrared ray or anion emission by fabricating the main body layer with polyurethane foam resin admixed with rice hull charcoal powder. The inner sole which comprises a base layer(10), a first main body layer(12) on the base layer and, optionally, a second main body layer(14) on the first main body layer, is fabricated by the steps of: arranging the base layer inside a foaming space; introducing polyurethane resin material admixed with rice hull charcoal; foaming the mixture to form the first main body layer; forming the second main body layer on the first main body layer; and, optionally, forming a third main body layer(16). Otherwise, the second main body layer is formed on the other side of the base layer opposite to the first main body layer. The main body layer is formed by foaming the mixture which is admixed with volcanic ash or the rice hull charcoal powder. |
