<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endothelin-1 production inhibitor, by finding out a substance having endothelin-1 production inhibitory action and mixing the substance into the inhibitor, and to provide a melanin production inhibitor. <P>SOLUTION: The endothelin-1 production inhibitor and the melanin production inhibitor contain a scutellaria extract and/or a curcuma extract as active ingredients, respectively.
