PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bird damage protector for a pole transformer primary bushing protecting metal in which an electrical shock accident or grounding accident caused by a foreign substance is prevented by preventing the foreign substance from falling into the inside of the protecting metal. SOLUTION: Bird damage protectors A1, A2 for a pole transformer primary bushing protecting metal are integrally projected on a surface of an outer wall 20a of a transformer 20 and attached to a U-shaped plane protecting metal B disposed proximately above a primary side bushing 21, so as to cover the upper side of the primary side bushing 21. The bird damage protector is cap-shaped while forming the inside into hollow and opening its lower surface by a synthetic resin material, and an attaching part 4 to be attached to the protecting metal B is disposed on its inner surface, and an upper surface of a top wall 1b is molded to be projected upwards so that, even when a foreign substance C such as a fruit like a Japanese persimmon falls on that upper surface, it rolls and drops.
