A module(3) containing electronic components is located on the inside wall(2) of the tire and attached to it with a foam material(1). The module may be located in a container(4) fixed to the inner side(2) of the tire wall and filled with foam(1). Alternatively the module can be attached to the inner wall by foam which is introduced into a cup placed against the inner wall and after foam curing the cup is removed. In both cases the foam completely encapsulates the module(3). Tire pressures are measured by the module either via a channel(6) connected to the interior of the tire or by using an air permeable foam. The channel comprises either a snorkel on the module or mandrel in the foam. Containers for foam have an oval or asymmetric base surface.
