REPEATER IN MOBILE COMMUNICATION SYSTEM

A repeater of a mobile communication system is provided to apply a main amplifier module where small signal amplification and attenuation functions and control functions are realized, thus gain control in accordance with user's control is available. A remote unit(200) comprises as follows. A modem(211) performs communication with an NMS(Network Management System). A remote transceiving module(220) transceives a signal with a transceiving module(140) of a donor unit(100). A main amplifier module(230) consists of an amplifier unit(232) composed of an attenuator(232-2) for attenuating the signal received through the module(220) and an amplifier(232-3) for amplifying the signal, and a controller(231) for performing gain control of the amplifier(232-3). A forward BPF(Band Pass Filter)(240) passes a desired frequency band only from the signal received from the amplifier(232-3), so that the signal of the corresponding frequency band can be transmitted to a terminal, and executes signal coupling for measuring output of a system. An arrestor(250) arrests a thunderstroke of a transmission antenna. An arrestor(260) arrests a thunderstroke of a receiving antenna.
