A brown gas auto-drain demister is provided to automatically drain moisture through a drain solenoid valve in response to instruction of a level sensor when the moisture collected by the demister reaches to a predetermined level. A brown gas auto-drain demister includes a cylindrical body(12) formed on a rectangular base(11), a water-tightly backfire preventing member(10), a housing(22) having a filtering element(23), and a housing cap(24). The backfire preventing member has a main water hole(13), a water gauge(14), a drain solenoid valve(16), and an immersed pipe(18), in which a brown gas passes through water filled in the body. The demister is assembled to a gas outlet by a connecting pipe(21).
