A contents sharing system using a sync server and a method thereof are provided to simultaneously service random contents to plural clients and plural kinds of clients, thereby improving functionality of a service. An application server(107) provides plural contents by interworking with a contents provider, or receives written contents from an authenticated user, receives client information about each user, recognizes a contents transmission request from an originating terminal(117), and instructs random contents to be transmitted to clients based on the client information. Contents DBs(115) store contents set by the user and the client information. A sync server(109) executes an authentication request for the corresponding clients in response to the instructions, receives terminal information on the authenticated clients, and transmits the random contents to a wire Internet(103) or a wireless Internet(101). An authentication server(111) extracts the terminal information and personal information on the clients in response to the authentication request, and conducts client authentication. Authentication DBs(113) store/manage the terminal information of the clients and the personal information on corresponding terminals.
