A 3G(Generation) mobile communication terminal and a PS(Packet Service) call management method are provided to compare the second PS call setup information through which the terminal is to attempt a connection with the currently connected first PS call setup information, if multiple PS call connections are attempted, and to connect with the second PS call if the compared information is not the same, thereby blocking an unnecessary PS call connection. A mobile communication terminal(210) demands the first PS call connection to a packet service network(220), and connects with the first PS call(S201-S203). The terminal(210) receives setup information of the first PS call from the network(220)(S204), and decides whether setup information of the second PS call is identical with the setup information of the first PS call in order to connect with a particular second PS call(S205-S207). If so, the terminal(210) stops attempting to connect with the second PS call(S208). If the information is not identical, the terminal(210) demands the second PS call connection to the network(220) to connect with the second PS call(S209).
