A catch basin for removing filth is provided to prevent a catchment pipe and a drainpipe from getting clogged and to prevent environmental pollution by accumulating filth only on a filter or a filth accumulation space and to promote the convenience of maintenance by removing the accumulated filth of a catchment pipe easily. A catch basin for removing filth contains: a catchment pipe(10) narrowed downward from the appointed depth and provided with a holder; a cover(20) placed on the top of the catchment pipe and provided with many inflow holes(21,22) to make a fluid flow inward and an insert(23) to be inserted to the inside diameter of the catchment pipe; and a fluid selector(30) placed on the holder of the catchment pipe to filter out rainwater and waste water moving through the cover and to accumulate filth and composed of a body(31) opened upward and downward and formed to narrow toward the lower part correspondingly to the width of the holder to be placed on the holder, a frame(32) composed of plural fixing bars(32a) fixed on the lower inside of the body and a frame fixed to the top of the fixing bars, a top filter(33) covering up the top of the frame, a side filter(34) covering up the lower side of the frame, and a filter accumulation space formed between the frame and the body by the side filter put on the lower side of the frame.
