Method involves detecting dimensions of a reproduction area (6) of electronic paper (2) currently available for data reproduction. Data that is currently to be represented two-dimensionally on optical paper is accessed and is processed in order to optically reproduce substantially all the data on currently available reproduction area, which is triggered in order to reproduce the processed data. An independent claim is also included for the optical reproduction device.
