Groove slotting method and groove slotting machine

The method involves a groove measurer (20) having a basic impact arm (21) with a reciprocating longitudinal stroke. From a longitudinal stroke an increasing lateral movement is made of the groove measurer. The impact arm has a longitudinal stroke and a lagging around a transverse axis (35). The transverse axis toward the longitudinal strokes is shifted, so that with each longitudinal stroke the measure of lateral issuing of the groove measurer is increased. An independent claim is included for a groove slotting machine.
