The vehicle has a loading and unloading device comprising a trolley (14) on which a cradle (15) is pivotably positioned, where the cradle receives a highways material. The trolley slides between a return position in which the trolley is inside the vehicle and an exit position in which the trolley is outside the vehicle. The cradle tilts the material from a horizontal position towards a vertical position with respect to the vehicle when the trolley is in exit position. The device has a lock locking the trolley.
