Spacing of the fastening zone (12) from the axis of rotation (11) of the turbine shaft, diminishes along the direction of blade thrust. The zone is designed with groove-and-root connections for the rotating blades. The fastening zone runs along the outer surface of a frustrated-conical, longitudinal section of the turbine shaft. A thrust compensation piston (16) is offset from the fastening zone, in the direction opposite to blade thrust. The intermediate space between fastening zone and piston, is formed by a completely-encircling stress relief groove (30).
