摘要 An input buffer circuit and an operation method thereof are provided to keep the stable operation state regardless of the variation of power supply voltage, by controlling the intensity of an operation current in inverse proportion to the power supply voltage variation. A comparison circuit(110) receives a power supply voltage as an operation voltage, and compares an input signal with a reference signal when the comparison circuit is enabled, and outputs an output signal according to the comparison result. A current path circuit(120) enables the comparison circuit by flowing the operation current of the comparison circuit to the ground, or disables the comparison circuit by stopping the flow of the operation current, in response to a buffer control signal. A current control circuit(140) controls the intensity of the operation current, in response to a current control signal. When the intensity of the operation current is controlled, the operation speed of the comparison circuit is changed.
