SEPARATING FILTER ELEMENT FOR CLEANING AND DRYING GASES

摘要

FIELD: cleaning and drying various gases, mainly hydrocarbon gases in preparation of them for transportation by gas lines. ^ SUBSTANCE: proposed separating filter element is made in form of multi-layer hollow cylinder; each layer is made from thermo-fastened fibers of thermoplastic polymer secured at crossing points. Layers are divided in groups at similar density in each group and different density of laying between groups of layers. Element has three groups of layers located in way of gas flow. Thickness of layers of first group is equal to thickness of layers of third group but is lesser than thickness of layers of second group; angle of inclination of fibers to vertical in third group of layers exceeds that in second group of layers but is lesser than that in first group; porosity of first group of layers is lesser than that of second group of layers but is more than that of third group of layers; density of laying layers of first group of layers is more than that of second group of layers but is lesser than that of third group of layers. ^ EFFECT: enhanced mechanical strength due to mechanical bond between layers; increased service life; enhanced reliability. ^ 5 cl, 1 dwg
