The present invention relates to a compact excavator that can be mounted on various carriers or be used as a self contained excavator. The present invention also describes various quick connect systems permitting the effective installatio n of this excavator in the back of Utility Vehicles (UTV) or other carrier equipped wi th a cargo box, on front end loaders, farm tractors, and motorized dump box. This excavator can also be towed and used in a trailer configuration, or be used as a self contained excavator.
