An apparatus for generating a voltage sag and a voltage swell is provided to instantly drop or boost the voltage by using a slidacs transformer. In an apparatus for generating voltage sag and voltage swell, a slidacs transformer consists of a slidacs coil(20), an input tab(21) connected to an input side, an output contact point unit(23) contacted to the slidacs coil(20) and outputs controlled voltage by varying input voltage. An input voltage switch(24a) connected between the input tab(21) and a load switches the input voltage. And, a control voltage switch is connected between the output contact point unit(23) and the load to switch the controlled voltage.
