The seat has a backrest (11) mounted on a base (10) and armrests (12, 13) mounted rotating around a rotating axis between a usage position and a storage position. The armrest has a horizontal bearing face towards the front of the backrest in the usage position and the armrest is along the vertical lateral face of the backrest in the storage position. The axis is inclined with respect to the lateral face so that the bearing face is opposite to the lateral face of the backrest in the storage position, where the lateral face has a recess in which the armrest is housed in the storage position.
