PURPOSE: A lithium ion polymer battery and a method for preparing the same are provided which secure reliability and stability of the battery by sealing a sealing part of a case. CONSTITUTION: The lithium ion polymer battery comprises: (i) an electrode assembly(130) which is prepared by laminating many positive plates(131), separators(133) and negative plates(12) in sequence; (ii) a lower part case(120) which has an one-side open lead-in part(121) to receive the electrode assembly and a first sealing part(111) to seal the lead-in part; (iii) an upper part case(110) which has a second sealing part(122) bonded to the first sealing part to seal the lead-in part; and (iv) a solid adhesive which is adhered to an adhering part the outside of the first and the second sealing part. The method comprises steps of: (i) preparing the electrode assembly by laminating many positive plates, separators and negative plates in sequence; (ii) dropping the electrode assembly in a lead-in part on one side of the lower part case and receiving the electrode assembly; (iii) coating at least one of a first sealing part formed on the border of the lead-in part and a second sealing part formed on the border of the upper part case with high temperature liquid adhesive; and (iv) facing the first sealing part and the second sealing part with each other to seal them. |
